Capture the visible browser view or a full scrolling page. TracePage PDF creates a paginated PDF with source details, a UTC timestamp, and an aggregate SHA-256 based on the ordered captured-frame hashes and byte lengths.
No account, uploads, analytics, or advertising.
What it does
One deliberate capture, one local PDF.
TracePage PDF runs only when you start it from the current tab. The page remains on your device throughout capture and PDF creation.
Capture receipt
Every PDF records the source URL, page title when available, UTC capture time, dimensions, page count, and capture hashes.
Local by design
Page images, URLs, and generated PDFs are not sent to the publisher or to third-party services.
How it works
From page to PDF in three steps.
Open a page
Navigate to content you are authorized to save.
Choose a mode
Select Visible area or Full scroll page from the extension.
Download the PDF
Keep the tab active during a full-page capture, then review the local output before sharing it.
Use it accurately
A capture record, not an authenticity service.
The aggregate SHA-256 is derived from the ordered hashes and byte lengths of the captured JPEG frames. It is an integrity aid for that frame set; it does not authenticate the website, verify identity, prove completeness, or determine legal status.
Full-scroll capture requires a normal HTTP or HTTPS webpage and cannot control the Chrome Web Store or Chrome's built-in PDF viewer. Version 0.1 captures the vertical outer document at its current viewport width; horizontal overflow and the contents of separate inner scrolling panels are not automatically traversed. Detected inner panels or safety limits produce a clearly labeled partial capture. Visible-area capture on browser-managed surfaces remains subject to Chrome's restrictions. Infinite-scroll, animated, rapidly changing, or highly interactive pages may change while full-page capture is in progress.
